Dr. Jill Swannack grew up on a dairy farm in Monroe, Washington and made her way to eastern Washington after high school. She attended veterinary school at WSU in Pullman and during college married Art Swannack, a farmer from Lamont, WA. After graduating, Jill worked at an animal hospital in Colville for a year to gain experience, after which she opened her own practice in Sprague, WA in 1992 with a goal to serve her local community through veterinary care for both large and small animals.

After the building in Sprague was condemned, Swannack Veterinary Services was able to open in its current location – on Art and Jill’s farm in Lamont, WA, where Dr. Jill continues to serve her community through veterinary care for both large and small animals.
